Copying vs Moving Objects in Central Management Console(CMC)

There seems to be a lot of confusion over what happens when an object is copied vs when an object is moved in Central Management Console(CMC). Here is the answer:

• When you copy an object(report, universe, folder etc), the newly created object will not retain the object rights of the original. Instead, the object inherits the rights that are set on its parent folder.
• When you move an object(report, universe, folder etc), all of the object's rights are retained.
